I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, and scholar. My clinical expertise has been focused on working with young adults, college-aged students, and substance use. My research involves exploring treatment modalities for cannabis use disorders in a college setting, post-cannabis legalization.
I have worked in College Counseling for 10+ years, providing therapy to college-aged students. I served as an assistant director for a Substance Use IOP program, overseeing the delivery of services. In this role, I provide supervision and guidance to clinicians treating substance use and mental health disorders, ensuring that they provide the best possible care to our students.
My Mission
College students are at a pivotal time in their lives, and ensuring that students receive effective treatment can reduce the long-term negative impacts of problematic cannabis use. If clinicians can effectively work with students using cannabis problematically, they can help students to make meaningful changes in their lives.
